A selection of Liszt, Chopin and works of young, contemporary composers
Featuring:
Ferenc Rados, Zoltán Fejérvári, István Lajkó - piano
Rondó String Quartet
10 countries, 10 festivals, 10 radio stations and 10 composers – this is the numerical summary of the project Music Masters on Air (MusMA). The central character of the European initiative this year is Franz Liszt: his works inspired the contemporary composers (including the Hungarian Marcell Dargay) whose pieces composed to the occasion are brought to the continent’s audience by festivals and radio stations featuring young artists. Participants to the project were interested in issues such as nature and built environment, the environment shaping the activity of man, or the relationship between Romanticism and our age. This evening we can listen to their musical pieces accompanied by the works of Liszt and Chopin in the Marble Hall of the co-organizer Hungarian Radio.
